Hence, my majority of thouoghts invariably shall be based on happenings in India or for that matter Indian Circle. Hope the Blog Fraternity will accept this.</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">I was just wondering about the latest controversy on banning the Pepsi and Coke drinks in India as they contain the pesticides 24 times higher than the normally allowed under the law of the country. This reveletion will definitely create fear in the minds of a common people. But then what is the fact?? I really do not know but I know for sure that this hype has been created by politicians for whatever benefit they want to accrue out of this.</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Whether the water we are drinking, milk being delivered at our doorsteps, daily dose of vegitables we are eating, for that matter a mother's milk (I am sorry, I have to make this comment as Mr. Sharad Pawar, an important Indian politician and a Minister For Agriculture, commented that the coconut water and even a mothers' milk is also not free from the content of pesticides) etc. <strong>are free of pesticides</strong>? </span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">What is the Truth? As a common man I am not aware. But I am worried as the other people are.</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">There is a Food and Drug Administration of Govt of India. But these pesticide facts were found by some non-government agency "Center For Science and Environment, New Delhi". </span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">I do not know what the Govet's own Food and Drug Administration is doing.</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">At least Indian Express (Indian Neews Agency) group tried to find out once the fact and observed that each and every sample of Ice being sold in the city of Pune contain pesticides.</span></div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"></span> </div><div align="justify"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Pepsi and Coke has a world market, then why in India only, it has the high content of pesticides.
